How Child Sponsorship Works
Your sponsorship helps children attend Liceo Nueva Vida through our partner, Fundación Karis. Sponsorship gifts are pooled with other sponsorship gifts and applied to the school's operating costs. Sponsoring families pay approximately one third of tuition, and sponsorship gifts cover the balance. This is what keeps the school open and its tuition within reach.
Because gifts are pooled, your sponsorship is not a payment to or for any individual child, nor is it held in a separate account for any child. Your gift is made to Impact Initiatives, which retains full discretion and control over how the funds are used.
If the child you sponsor leaves the school, we will let you know and offer to introduce you to another student. Your gifts remain with the program and continue to support enrolled children.
Up to 12% of each gift is applied to the cost of administering our programs and operating the organization. Payment processing fees are separate from this 12%. You may choose to cover those fees when you give; if you do not, they are deducted from your gift.
How Your Gift is Used
Impact Initiatives, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. All contributions are made to Impact Initiatives and are subject to its discretion and control. Up to 12% of each gift supports program administration and operations. See Donation Use Policy
